Springford Veterans Monument, also known as Springford Veterans Memorial (SVM), will be organized as a Non-Profit with a 501C3 status in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to facilitate the construction of a structure to honor those Veterans who have honorably served the United States of America from the Springford Area within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to include The Southeastern Veterans Center. Post WWII to current day era veterans will be recognized.
Special recognition is given, designated by a “star”, for those who died in combat and an “asterisk” for those who died later in life from service-related injuries, illnesses, or disease. Their selflessness is not forgotten. honor those that have honorably served the United States of America.
Additional tribute will be paid to those first responders that serve our community along with the highest individual recognition for Medal of Honor recipients.
Established in 2015 with a volunteer staff dedicated to an established Vision with Mission and Values that operates in support of the local community in which the memorial resides.
Our uncommon dedication for success is rooted from our military service to the United States to accomplish our mission as we recognized those that have serviced and passed.
Our outreach and eternal communications programs have two main purposes:
- To increase the visibility and effect contact with the general population, businesses, and public institutions to raise awareness for the specific purpose of securing money and materials for building and maintaining the monument.
- To gather information of those veterans that qualify for honor and remembrance on the monument.

Passion, motivation, and accountability are easily witnessed characteristics of the leaders in the Springford Veterans Memorial Organization (SVM). The leadership team will guide efforts that remain true to our patriotic values while making sure we build a sustainable memorial to those that served our country. We are driven by a strong desire to support and recognize those that sacrificed their time, careers and sometimes their lives so that all citizens can enjoy their God given freedoms.
