This memorial is created to honor those Veterans who served our Country with an honorable discharge since 1950. They should be from or residing in the Springford area. Special recognition is given, designated by a star, for those who died in combat and an asterisk for those who died later in life from service-related injuries, illnesses, or disease.

* Presumptive Causes:

The VA Presumptive List for placement of a star for those that passed basically states that if veterans who served in X location/circumstances during certain years and developed Y or Z conditions, then those conditions will be automatically considered service connected. All veterans are required to have served at least 90 days active, continuous service for their conditions to qualify unless it is specifically noted otherwise on the qualifying list. The veteran's name will be listed with an "asterisk" next to their name on the memorial. Please include proof of service, e.g. - DD214 (hide SS#), county veterans card, Driver's License with the star veterans designation (hide DL#) or other proof of honorable service. Donations are accepted but not required.
